Meet Jay Williams

Jaylin “Jaywill” Williams is a self-taught drummer with 14+ years of experience and a growing footprint in the Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Worship scenes. Based in Charlotte, NC, he’s known for his musical feel, adaptability, and passion for serving the song. Jaywill has shared stages with touring artists like The Foxies and Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, and worked with names including The Maggie Valley Band, Dazy Bea, Virtuous and more. He’s also played with Elevation Worship’s campus teams, supporting worship leaders tied to GRAMMY® and Dove Award-winning collectives. A dedicated teacher and lifelong learner, he’s trained through the platform, Drumeo, and helps other drummers grow through personal coaching and creative development.
